Developer Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
At ExtHub.store, we deeply respect the privacy and intellectual property of the developers who join our platform. This Developer Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your code and data.
1. Data Collection
When you register as a developer and submit an extension, we collect the following:
- Authentication Data: Your email address and basic profile information from Google/GitHub for account access.
- Source Code: The `.zip` files containing the source code of your extensions that you submit for monetization.
- Payout Information: Your PayPal email address or Crypto Wallet address, which we use exclusively to send your monthly earnings.
2. Source Code Protection
Your source code is your intellectual property. We treat it with the highest level of confidentiality.
- We do not share, sell, or distribute your uncompiled source code to any third parties.
- Your code is accessed solely by our internal team to integrate the payment logic and premium popups.
- Once integrated, we provide you with the modified, ready-to-publish `.zip` file for you to upload to the Chrome Web Store.
3. Analytics and Sales Data
We track the sales, active subscriptions, and revenue generated by your extension via Paddle. This data is displayed in your Developer Dashboard. We do not sell this financial data, but we may use aggregated, anonymized metrics (e.g., "Total revenue generated by developers") for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
You may request the deletion of your developer account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your source code, email, and payout details from our active servers. We may retain certain financial records as required by law for tax and accounting purposes.
If you have any questions regarding how we handle your data or source code, please contact us at contact@exthub.store.
