2. Permissions We Request and Why

To function correctly, the Extension requests the following permissions:

  • cookies: Necessary to read the cookies of the website you are currently visiting so they can be exported.
  • downloads: Necessary to save the generated cookies.txt file directly to your local hard drive.
  • storage: Necessary to securely store your local settings, trial usage limit, and premium subscription authentication status.
  • Host Permissions (<all_urls>): Necessary to allow the extension to read cookies on any active website you choose to export cookies from.
  • Host Permissions (*://*.exthub.store/*): Necessary to seamlessly verify your premium subscription status without requiring an additional manual login.

3. Data Storage, Transmission & Zero-Tracking

We absolutely DO NOT collect, transmit, store, sell, or share your cookies, browsing history, or any personal data.All data processing happens entirely locally on your device. When you export cookies, the Extension reads them locally and downloads the file directly to your computer. Your cookies and data never leave your device and never pass through our servers or any third-party services.

4. Account & Authentication

To verify Premium subscriptions, the Extension may read a securely encrypted authentication status generated when you log in to ExtHub.store. This verification only checks your subscription status and does not collect browsing history or tracking data.

5. Limited Use Disclosure

The Extension's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell your data, and we do not use your data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
